The George Hotel, Huntingdon

If you know little about Oliver Cromwell and want to know more, come to Huntingdon. The Cromwells were a prominent local landowning family and Oliver Cromwell was born here.

In keeping with this local tradition, we take pride in the fact that The George, which has also been a coaching inn, was once the home of Oliver Cromwell's grandfather and that the Cromwell Museum is 200 yards from the hotel. A feature room and a four-poster bedroom are available. The hotel has three conference rooms which accommodate up to 100 people. The Manchester suite is ideal for weddings, banquets and dinner dances. If you are looking for that special venue for your function, then the George Hotel is your ideal choice. This magnificent 16th Century hotel is a superb venue for your birthday party, anniversary or christening. Situated in the center of Huntingdon we have a choice of three various sized rooms to offer. Once the home of Oliver Cromwells grandfather this former coaching Inn has played host to guests travelling on business and leisure for hundreds of years.
